WOMAN SUES DOCS FOR NOT DETECTING PREGNANCY – SAYS WOULD HAVE ABORTED
MONTREAL, January 8, 2002 (LSN.ca) – A Quebec woman has launched a $90,000 law suit against two doctors since they did not detect her pregnancy despite five visits to the clinic, one less than a month before she gave birth to her 7 1/2 pound daughter. The Montreal Gazette reports that the woman’s lawyer, Jean-Pierre Menard, says that the doctors’ files verified the woman’s reports.
