The video, which was smuggled out of China with the help of a disgruntled government employee, is the first news about Chen since Sept. 13, after he was released from his four-year prison sentence for exposing China's one-child policy.
“Today’s hearing ... puts the focus on important legislation to protect women and children from the horrors of abortion,” Rep. Chris Smith said on Tuesday.
"The federal government should not use tax dollars to support or promote elective abortion,” said a representative of the USCCB in testimony to a House subcommittee.
