Planned Parenthood calls Gosnell case ‘appalling’ and horrific.’ But why?

Over the past few weeks, the nation’s largest abortion chain has attempted to distance itself from Kermit Gosnell and his notorious “House of Horrors” abortion facility. In an April 12 tweet, Planned Parenthood called the Gosnell case “appalling,” and an April 17 tweet labeled it “horrific.” OK. But what specifically about the Gosnell case do Cecile Richards, et al., find so “horrific” and “appalling”? Debunking the myth that Gosnell was an ‘outlier’

It would be difficult to overstate the impact of Kristen Powers’ April 11 column bemoaning the absence of coverage of the Kermit Gosnell murder trial. This is not to say that once “We’ve forgotten what belongs on Page One” ran in USA Today there was a collective mad rush to Philadelphia. But Powers did get the ball rolling that the rest of us had found immovable.
