The shocking truth: Aborted babies are born alive, and left to die

Jonathon Van Maren kicks off this week’s episode of The Van Maren Show by reminding his listeners that hundreds of babies born alive during abortion procedures are simply left on their own to die. Jill Stanek joins Van Maren to discuss these horrors as well as those mentioned at the Planned Parenthood baby body parts trial against David Daleiden. Norway is stealing children from their parents. The EU government noticed.

October 29, 2019 (The Public Discourse) — In recent weeks, it has been reported that the Norwegian authorities have taken permanent custody of three American children from their Christian parents. Natalya Shutakova, a US citizen, and her husband, Lithuanian citizen Zigintas Aleksandravicius, are now allowed to visit their children only three times per year. Sadly, this is not particularly shocking to those who have been working to protect parental rights in Europe. It seems remarkable that this can be happening in a country that positions itself as a human rights champion. Through its Agency for Development Cooperation, Norway devotes more than $400 million […]

How the creator of the ‘Magical Birth Canal’ viral video is saving unborn babies

It’s not every day you see a young woman dressed in a pink wig, even pinker lipstick, and holding a giant, sparkly tube that she informs the viewer is supposed to represent the human birth canal (“Disclaimer: birth canal is not the actual size of a birth canal,” we’re helpfully told). In their wide- ranging interview, Jonathon Van Maren and Laura Klassen, founder of CHOICE42, also discuss the failure of Christian churches to take abortion seriously, the creative process she follows in producing new videos, and a host of other topics.

ROME, October 16, 2019 (LifeSiteNews) — At today’s synod press briefing, Vatican media officials initially denied knowledge of the mysterious unclad statue of a pregnant indigenous woman that has featured prominently in various events and ceremonies involving the Pope, in St. Peter’s Basilica, the Synod Hall and the Vatican gardens.  PETITION: Call on Vatican to remove all “pagan” symbols from St. Peter’s and the Synod Hall! Sign the petition here. In this episode of The John-Henry Westen show, Westen speaks with Fr. Anthony Pillari, JCL, about priestly celibacy. Fr. Pillari, a canon lawyer and chaplain in the extraordinary form, discusses the roots of priestly celibacy and why it is a fundamental aspect of the priesthood. In speaking about priestly celibacy, Fr. Pillari points out that married men can become priests and have in the past, look at Peter our first Pope. However, once a married man became a priest he had to pledge perpetual celibacy and in some cases left home to become a missionary. As the Amazon Synod proposes allowing married priests, The Church needs to remain faithful to […]

An outrage either way: Pagan idol worship in the Vatican or a nude statue of Our Lady

An event last week with indigenous people from the Amazon along with Pope Francis in the Vatican Gardens caused social media to explode. And rightfully so. We were either witnessing pagan idol worship in the Vatican with the seeming approval of the Pope or else it was a scandalous portrayal of the Mother of God in a crude nude statue. Frankly I don’t know which is worse, but either way it’s totally outrageous. That’s what we’re discussing in this special episode of the John-Henry Westen show stay tuned.

Remote island study suggests China most responsible for plastic trash in Atlantic

INACCESSIBLE ISLAND, October 8, 2019 (LifeSiteNews) — Nearly three fourths of discarded plastic bottles found on a remote island in the Atlantic Ocean originate in China and have been dumped into the ocean as trash from Chinese cargo ships. Nor do they originate from land-based sources, according to a new study. Researchers went to Inaccessible Island, a remote feature of the South Atlantic Ocean approximately midway between South America and southern Africa, and found that 73% of plastic bottles they found washed ashore were made in China and appear to come from Asia. The United Nations and national governments have […]

Climate change hysteria’s roots mix with eugenics, homosexual activism

October 7, 2019 (La Nuova Bussola Quotidiana) — Climate scare-mongering serves political objectives by manipulating scientific data. Years of pounding propaganda have disoriented and seriously distorted how we consider reality, ranging from nature’s mechanisms to the relationship between development and the environment, from climate knowledge to the role of human activities. For this reason, La Nuova Bussola Quotidiana is dedicating a series of installments to climate change, aimed at addressing the single aspects falsified in this wave of collective hysteria. It must have come as a quite a surprise to those who are particularly naïve and embarrassed some Catholic journalists […]

Abp Viganò warns against silence of ‘reckless pastors’ who fear losing ‘human favor’

ROME, October 6, 2019 (LifeSiteNews) — Archbishop Carlo Maria Viganò on Sunday issued a statement warning all pastors of the Church not to “hide in silence” but to speak out against the “wolves” and “worldly powers” that are threatening Christ’s flock. The “fraternal correction,” written on the Oct. 6 liturgical memorial of St. Bruno, founder of the Carthusian Order, comes on the opening day of the Amazonian Synod, being held at the Vatican Oct. 6-27. Taking a page from the “Pastoral Rule” of St. Gregory the Great, a sixth-century patristic text which carefully details the duties and obligations of the clergy concerning […]
