(LifeSiteNews) — Corrupt Western media outlets are following a well-known playbook amid the rise in popularity of El Salvador’s 41-year-old pro-life conservative president, Nayib Bukele, who has a 90 percent approval rating.

Like Donald Trump before him, Bukele rose to power on a wave of populist support. He is perhaps most loved by his people (and equally hated by the Deep State) for jailing over 60,000 gang members that were threatening the stability of his 6.6 million-person country. As a result of his law-and-order policies, crime in El Salvador has reportedly reached historic lows.

For putting the safety of his people first, Bukele has been given the honor of being smeared by a growing number of left-wing news organizations in the U.S. Bukele is “[taking] steps that eat away at the country’s democracy,” the Associated Press groaned recently. “El Salvador’s authoritarian president is becoming a regional role model,” an article from The Economist published in March lamented. “That is dangerous for democracy and human rights.”

While no politician is perfect in today’s godless world, Bukele (who is not particularly religious, though does have Palestinian Christian roots) has admirably pushed back against the globalist agenda after winning, against all odds, 53 percent of the vote in 2019. He has been a thorn in the side of neo-liberal imperialists ever since. Here are a few of the many reasons why he is disliked by our cosmopolitan elite.

Despite backing a 30-day lockdown and the experimental COVID shot during the plandemic, Bukele encouraged citizens to exercise, take vitamins, and eat healthy to prevent the virus’ worst side effects. He also distributed government-backed medical packages that included ivermectin tablets

When Canada’s Justin Trudeau forcibly removed the peaceful Freedom Convoy truckers from Parliament Hill in Ottawa in February 2022, Bukele took to Twitter to call out the hypocrisy. “Are these the people who give lessons to other countries about democracy and freedom?” he asked. “[Trudeau’s] credibility on these topics is now worth 0.”

Bukele has also been outspoken against the murder of unborn children. For decades El Salvador has upheld the right to life for the preborn without exceptions. In 2021, Bukele affirmed his support for that position while also refusing to allow euthanasia and “same-sex marriage” to be legalized. The bloodthirsty, pro-LGBT U.S. State Department surely despises him for that alone.

Joe Biden has been a target of Bukele’s ire as well. A proponent of unifying Central America into a European Union-styled confederation, Bukele pushed back against Biden for meddling in El Salvador’s affairs in December of 2021.

“It is clear that the interests of the United States Government have NOTHING TO DO with democracy, in ANY COUNTRY,” he tweeted, after being accused of bribing criminals.

It’s not difficult to understand why the military-industrial complex dislikes Bukele and is labeling him a “threat to democracy.” Whatever his flaws, he’s refusing to promote their woke, globalist ideology. And for that, he’s been targeted for cancelation. The CIA simply does not want a long-serving vassal state to go rogue.

The blowback in the press Bukele is receiving is the classic Deep State strategy of accusing your enemy of what you yourself are guilty of. Hillary Clinton did this in her debates with Donald Trump. The same is being done by the press with Joe Biden and Volodymyr Zelensky.

Just this year, Zelensky suspended all upcoming elections, citing the easily avoidable conflict with Russia. He’s also nationalized the news and banned 11 opposing political parties. How did our “pro-democracy” media respond to these dictatorial decrees? “Voting in the middle of the Russian invasion is legally and practically unworkable,” read a supportive article in Foreign Policy. Not only that, Zelensky was given the rare honor of speaking to a joint session of Congress in December 2022. That tells you everything you need to know about how bad the hypocrisy and rot in Washington is these days.

And Joe Biden? For weaponizing the FBI against pro-lifers, demonizing American patriots as domestic terrorists, attacking free speech, and sicking the DOJ on his political opponent, Donald Trump (and his supporters who attended the January 6 protest), Biden has been hailed as a national hero fighting extremism and hate instead of being decried for the tyrant that he really is. The lengths Western press outlets will go to gaslight the American public is truly astonishing.

At the end of the day, “defending democracy” simply means “dictatorship by the media.” And given that the most powerful media outlets in the world are merely front groups for fascist intelligence agents to push left-wing propaganda, whenever anyone is labeled a “threat to democracy,” that person, from henceforth, will be deemed a “threat to the Deep State” who needs to be terminated. And so it is with Bukele, who should be applauded for his bold efforts to improve the lives of his people.
