Abortive contraceptives and pro-life rhetoric
Catholic tradition regards use of contraceptives as gravely wrong. Still, we must consider whether uncertainty about their abortive effects reduces whatever additional gravity abortifacient contraceptives involves—and whether their use is tantamount to surgical abortion.
