With their senses dulled to the sanctity of life, it’s no wonder that many pro-abortion groups advocate for and encourage violence against those who strive to protect moms and babies.
It is our duty as brothers and sisters in Christ to defend His true presence in the Eucharist and to teach others to do the same. But we can only do so much without strong leaders.
As we approach Mother’s Day — and possibly a change in the country’s abortion laws — let us all take time to teach our children, our friends, our family, and those in our communities the beauty of motherhood.
So let us learn from these stories what will happen to a society that remains blind, that devalues human beings, and that kills people at will. It becomes a society devoid of goodness, devoid of love, and devoid of God.
But despite the sadness and despite the ache in our hearts that comes as we look upon Christ’s beaten and bloody body, we know the end of the story. We know that He triumphed over death, over sin, and over evil.
