March 4, 2021 (LifeSiteNews) – A few days in, New York Governor Andrew Cuomo is already having a terrible month. The New York Times has now published claims by a third woman accusing him of acting inappropriately – he’s already facing allegations of unwanted kissing, suggesting to a female staffer that they play strip poker, and a litany of other creepy behavior. None of the allegations thus far rise to the level of sexual assault, but Cuomo has already moved from total denial to apologizing for any actions “misinterpreted as unwanted flirtation,” which is about as slimy as fellow feminist Justin Trudeau’s admission that a woman he groped may have “experienced it differently” than he did.

These allegations do seem to be curiously timed. Just as Cuomo transformed overnight from Democratic media darling (with, I’m sure, the inevitable presidential aspirations that accompany such attention) to the governor who personally ordered a directive resulting in the deaths of well over 10,000 nursing home residents facing open revolt from fellow Democrats. Cuomo and his team had been trying to gloss over the fact that they lied about the number of deaths by saying that they were afraid that Trump and the GOP would make the issue “political” which, since Cuomo is a politician, is a profoundly stupid excuse. As it turns out, many in his own party can see that it’s a stupid excuse too.

It is worth noting, as Cuomo scrabbles to save his career as the literal and figurative Ides of March draws near, that the governor has been one of the staunchest abortion activists in America, known for openly antagonizing pro-life and pro-family New Yorkers. Back in 2014, he suggested that pro-lifers who disagreed with him might like to simply leave the state; when New York “flattened the curve” last year, he stated explicitly that “God did not do that.” He passed legislation that expanded access to both abortion and abortifacient drugs and demanded that crisis pregnancy centers, medical facilities, and even faith-based organizations recognize abortion as healthcare. He demanded that Brett Kavanaugh take a lie detector test (a standard he appears disinclined to follow.)

UPDATE (3/10/21) -

The House has passed the $1.9T COVID relief package. For the first time in 44 years, the Democrats voted against amendments to prevent taxpayer dollars from funding abortion domestically.

In a complete reversal of the protections given to the unborn by the Hyde Amendment and the Trump Administration, billions of dollars will now be spent by the U.S. federal government to fund and promote abortion in the United States and abroad.

Joe Biden championed the rescission of the Hyde Amendment during the campaign, and has said that he will sign the bill on Friday.

The relief bill which just passed the House contains funding for abortion, both inside and outside the United States, and even sets up a $50 million slush fund for Planned Parenthood!

This is outrageous!

Please SIGN and SHARE this urgent petition telling all U.S. Senators not to fund abortion with the new COVID relief bill.

AND, after you SIGN, please TAKE A MINUTE TO DIRECTLY CONTACT YOUR SENATORS by clicking on the link below.

The bill just passed the House and now goes to the Senate, so we must ACT NOW to tell our Senators never to allow abortion-tainted funding to fuel our nation's recovery!

The Democrats' use of COVID-19 as a pretext to fund abortion is unconscionable and disgusting in equal measures!

Americans do not want our politicians to use COVID relief as an excuse to fund abortion. A recent poll shows that a solid majority of Americans (58%) of ALL political backgrounds oppose the use of taxpayer funding for abortion.*

But, the Democrats' relief bill conspicuously leaves out Hyde Amendment protections against domestic funding of abortion!

Not only that, the bill is actually a revolting funding wishlist for abortion projects at home and abroad, including:

  • $750 million for U.S. community health centers and "global health" finance WITHOUT the protections of the Hyde Amendment.
  • $50 million for Title X which could be used by abortionists like Planned Parenthood as a bailout cash reserve.
  • Giving Planned Parenthood access to small business relief.
  • Further funding of COBRA insurance under Obamacare which funds abortion with taxpayer dollars.

Please SIGN and SHARE this urgent petition telling U.S. Senators not to fund abortion with the new COVID relief bill.

Thank you!

It turns out that Andrew Cuomo, like so many “bro feminists” before him, is one of those men who supports women but expects a little kickback in return. Famously, he lit the New York City skyline with pink lights by night to celebrate the Reproductive Health Act, a bill that functionally legalizes abortion until birth in the state. Cuomo is dedicated to making abortions available to as many women as he can, and when—like with so many others—we begin to hear about the other side of his warm and fuzzy feminism, one can’t help but wonder why. Nothing is more sacred to a male feminist than abortion is. Abortion is necessary because male feminists generally expect the female feminists they impregnate to get them.

It may turn out that Cuomo is guilty of nothing beyond the allegations we’ve seen thus far in the department of slimy behavior; he’s already insisting that kissing people is “my usual and customary way of greeting,” which I’m sure will make his fellow feminists feel much better. But the real scandals of Cuomo’s governorship are the deeply evil laws targeting pre-born children and the staggering death toll amongst the elderly under his leadership and on his watch. Interestingly, if Cuomo survives this maelstrom, it will likely be because pro-abortion feminists decide to give him a pass in exchange for everything he’s done for the cause over the years. And if his career is aborted, it will have been far too late in the coming.
