(LifeSiteNews) — Since arriving in the White House, Joe Biden has picked up where Barack Obama left off, making promotion of abortion and the LGBT agenda abroad a fundamental cornerstone of his administration’s foreign policy.

There is, of course, the flying of rainbow flags on American embassies—including the embassy to the Holy See (staff at the embassy in Kabul stuck to posting an image to Twitter a couple of months prior to fleeing before the Taliban). But a key aspect of this promotional strategy is using American taxpayer dollars to fund LGBT groups around the world.

According to the Washington Free Beacon, the latest example of this is the Portuguese international film festival Queer Lisboa, which according to a State Department spokeswoman received $10,000 from the Biden Administration as part of their initiative to “support LGBTQ+ and Diversity, Equity, Inclusion & Accessibility efforts.”

The festival, the Beacon noted, “included P.S. Burn This Letter Please, a documentary about drag culture in post-war New York City, Saint-Narcisse, a film about incestuous twins, and Minyan, a movie about a 17-year-old Jewish boy who leaves his parents to explore New York City’s gay scene and eventually has sex with an adult bartender.”

In other words, the festival was more or less like the Oscars.

There are countless reasons to conclude modern sex-education is less about critical thinking and more about indoctrinating and sexualizing children at as young an age as possible.

Consider these 3 questions:

  • Why are politicians around the world pushing radical transgender theories on children as young as 5?
  • Why is the World Health Organization calling for 4 year-olds to be taught how to masturbate?
  • Why are children in schools being shown graphic images of sex and told anything goes so long as consent is established, if not to encourage our sons and daughters to become sexually active?

A sane society would try to shield impressionable children from becoming sexualized, and encourage them not to watch pornography, take puberty blockers or mutilate their genitalia, but our schools increasingly promote these behaviors.

In reality, the media, most politicians, and many education chiefs are obliterating a parent's ability to protect their child's innocence and identity.

We must realize: these elites want children to have THEIR values, not YOURS. SIGN THE PLEDGE!

The results of this explicit, inappropriate sex-saturated culture and education have been startling: there have never been more children claiming to be transgender, gay, lesbian and bisexual, nor have we ever seen such high levels of sexual assaults by minors.

Countless politicians, media personalities and education chiefs are too busy promoting woke trends to realize that sexualizing minors amounts to grooming, and has devastating consequences in many cases.

Children whose inhibitions are broken down risk addiction to pornography, teenage pregnancy, STDs, gender dysphoria, online shaming, and a whole host of other negative outcomes.

Parents, not the government, must be in control of what their child is taught about sex.

Just listen to the type of materials public schools in the U.S. are promoting:

That's why we are asking you to sign the Parents' Pledge that you will pull your children out of sex-education classes if your school chooses to sexualize your child.

The Parents' Pledge is our best chance of winning back our children's schools before they're entirely lost to radical sex-obsessed teachers' unions who are foisting these curricula on teachers.

Do you really want other adults deciding what your child is exposed to? Of course not.

Please share this brand new grassroots Parents' Pledge with like-minded parents and join a growing movement of mothers and fathers who are wise to the threat of their child being led into sexual activity.

Queer Lisboa is only one of several initiatives designed to mainstream the LGBT agenda. According to the Free Beacon, early this year the State Department

funded the ‘first gender and sexuality library in Lebanon,’ provided diversity and inclusion consulting to Latin American police forces, and hosted a transgender recognition webinar in Norway, according to an interagency report. The department said locals sometimes pushed back against LGBT promotion, perceiving it as ‘Western,’ ‘imported,’ or ‘against cultural or religious values.’

That, of course, is the point. U.S. embassy officials in Portugal noted that their funding of the queer festival was part of promoting Biden’s “Memorandum on Advancing the Human Rights of LGBTQI+ Persons Around the World.”

Specifically, the funding of queer festivals and other such events is commissioned under Section 3 of the Memorandum, which notes that one prong of the international Biden strategy would be:

Foreign Assistance to Protect Human Rights and Advance Nondiscrimination. Agencies involved with foreign aid, assistance, and development programs shall expand their ongoing efforts to ensure regular Federal Government engagement with governments, citizens, civil society, and the private sector to promote respect for the human rights of LGBTQI+ persons and combat discrimination. Agencies involved with foreign aid, assistance, and development programs should consider the impact of programs funded by the Federal Government on human rights, including the rights of LGBTQI+ persons, when making funding decisions, as appropriate and consistent with applicable law.

If you haven’t read the Memorandum, it’s worth doing so. It is an incredibly radical document that essentially puts the U.S. Government at the disposal of international LGBT activists—and stays so explicitly:

The United States belongs at the forefront of this struggle — speaking out and standing strong for our most dearly held values. It shall be the policy of the United States to pursue an end to violence and discrimination on the basis of sexual orientation, gender identity or expression, or sex characteristics, and to lead by the power of our example in the cause of advancing the human rights of LGBTQI+ persons around the world.

That does not simply mean advocating for persecuted or endangered people; it means redefining marriage around the world; pushing gender ideology in traditional societies; advocating for sex changes and puberty blockers for the young; insisting that traditional countries change their laws to align with the values of the LGBT movement.

It also involves characterizing the Christian view of sexuality as hateful and worthy of suppression. As bad as it is to discover that Biden is using your tax dollars to fund a film festival depicting incest, drag queens, and pedophilia, you should know that he’s doing a lot worse than that.
