(LifeSiteNews) — In 2020, Joe Biden was the empathy candidate. His pitch was simple: after four years of chaos, it was time to bring compassion and dignity and values back to the White House. Sure, you had to ignore the mile-wide trail of corruption behind him, but that didn’t much distract from his central campaign message: I am a good person. To be entirely fair, even the leaked messages of Biden to his drug addict son Hunter simply make him sound like a loving father.

Obviously, Biden’s genial persona is merely a cover for a man pushing the most radical policies of any president in American history, including Barack Obama. He has delivered the abortion industry everything he can with the tools of the presidency; he has an open-door policy for the most extreme LGBT activists; he is a passionate defender of sex changes for children, even calling it “almost sin” for states to restrict giving kids cross-sex hormones or surgeries. Biden may be elderly and failing—he’s also a grinning old revolutionary in aviators.

But there is another mark against Biden’s claim to be a friendly, family-loving man which reveals him to be someone far colder and harder than he lets on. In a scathing editorial titled “It’s Seven Grandkids, Mr. President,” Maureen Dowd noted in the New York Times that her sister, who had been a fan of Biden, sat down to write the president a letter calling on him to recognize the little girl fathered by his son Hunter during a fling:

“I watched as you told the nation that you had six grandchildren and you loved each one of them,” she wrote. “I believe that. What I cannot believe and what I find unconscionable is that you refuse to admit or accept the fact that there is a beautiful little 4-year-old girl living in Arkansas by the name of Navy Joan who is your seventh grandchild.”

Peggy wrote about Hunter’s high-priced lawyers going down to Arkansas to make sure Navy could not use the Biden name and to slash child support payments.

“She has the Biden blood running through her veins, and all she is going to have as a reminder of this are some of Hunter’s original paintings; sounds like a lousy trade-off, if you ask me,” Peggy wrote, referring to the agreement that assigned some of Hunter’s artwork to the daughter he has never met, even though DNA testing in 2019 established his paternity.

Joe Biden’s seventh granddaughter is named Navy Joan Roberts, and her mother is Lunden Alexis Roberts, a former stripper whom Hunter claimed, with an extraordinary lack of self-awareness, in his 2021 memoir wasn’t “dating material.” The New York Times reported that: “The girl is aware that her father is Hunter Biden and that her paternal grandfather is the president of the United States. She speaks about both of them often, but she has not met them.” In fact, she’s visited Washington, D.C. with her mother—but not the White House. Despite definitive, legal evidence, the president refuses to acknowledge that she is his granddaughter.

That admission, of course, would reveal how cruel and callous the Bidens are being towards this little girl. They cannot be bothered to meet her—but they have taken great care to ensure that the girl cannot use the last name of her father or grandfather. Hunter Biden is a notorious user of hookers and strippers, and his drug exploits are legendary, but he apparently feels that his name (which he has spent his adult life cashing in on) is too important to allow an innocent little girl—who is entitled to it by virtue of her parentage—take it on. In response to this reporting, the White House is simply refusing to answer questions.

The president, however, cannot ignore his blond granddaughter forever. His son his paying $5,000 a month in child support and has agreed to pay her mother’s legal fees. Americans know he has seven, and not six, grandchildren. The truth is that Joe Biden is a deadbeat grandpa, and the way he is treating his beautiful granddaughter is a disgrace. Even the New York Times agrees.
