Dear Friends of Priests for Life,

I take this occasion to wish you and your family all the blessings of a Happy Thanksgiving. By my travels throughout the nation, I have visited so many of you in your homes and communities, and there are many more that I will visit as my travels continue. I wish I could visit with each of you personally again today, as we all thank the Lord for so many blessings. My Mass of Thanksgiving Day will be offered for you.

In a particular way, we should thank the Lord today for the call to be part of the pro-life movement. Not everyone hears this call, and as we all know, many oppose it. What’s worse, however, is that so many trivialize it, and fail to see the need to respond to abortion for what it really is.

The way we thank the Lord for calling us to the pro-life movement is to increase our involvement in it, to increase the amount of time, energy, and resources we give to saving our unborn brothers and sisters.

I thank the Lord for you. Continue to be a fearless voice for the unborn! I rejoice as I look forward to continuing in this work on a full-time basis, side by side with all of you.

Sincerely,

Fr. Frank Pavone
