(LifeSiteNews) — In the wake of the presidential debate on September 10, the mainstream media kicked into mockery mode. Trump, according to the consensus, didn’t just take the bait Harris threw out for him (on rally sizes etc.), but also lied egregiously.
One example most media outlets cited was Trump pointing out that Kamala Harris supported “transgender operations on illegal aliens in prison.” This, said the New Yorker, was clearly insane. So did TIME and other once-prestigious publications. Which made TIME magazine’s September 11 correction to their debate report genuinely hilarious:
The original version of this story mischaracterized as false Donald Trump’s statement accusing Kamala Harris of supporting “transgender operations on illegal aliens in prison.” As a presidential candidate in 2019, Harris filled out a questionnaire saying she supported taxpayer-funded gender transition treatment for detained immigrants.
In fact, Harris not only supported this position in the 2019 questionnaire – she has made her support for taxpayer-funded “sex changes” for convicted criminals a talking point when campaigning with LGBT groups:

As attorney general of California, Harris was hailed by the LGBT movement as a pioneer for her “historic settlement” between the state and the Transgender Law Center that resulted in the transfer of a transgender-identified male prisoner to a women’s prison, along with state-funded provision of various transgender surgeries. On the transgender agenda, Harris has not merely been in lockstep with her party – she has been out front, breaking new ground.
It isn’t just Kamala Harris who is all-in on the transgender agenda, either. Her running mate Tim Walz may look like a schlubby Midwesterner who just popped by your neighborhood barbecue, but he is as radical as she is. Walz has been governor of Minnesota since 2019; in January of 2023, the Minnesota Department of Corrections adopted a “gender identity policy” that allows for the transfer of transgender-identified male prisoners to female prisons. Those transfers have already begun.
According to the independent media outlet Reduxx, at least five male convicts have been transferred from male facilities to women’s only prisons since the adoption of the “gender identity” policy. One is 26-year-old Elijah Thomas Berryman, who was arrested in April 2022 for sexually abusing a minor. He pleaded guilty to four counts of first-degree criminal sexual conduct in March 2024 and was sentenced to 25 years in prison. In Tim Walz’s Minnesota, he is serving that sentence in a women’s prison.
Another convict currently serving time in a women’s prison is 35-year-old Sean Windingland, who “sexually assaulted two 6-year-old relatives and posted videos of the abuse and grooming on pornography and pro-pedophile websites.” Windingland confessed to sexually abusing the two little girls. He got 36 years, which he is serving in the women’s correctional facility MCF-Shakopee after claiming that he is actually a woman.
Another male convict being held at a different Minnesota women’s prison is 52-year-old murderer Bradley Richard Sirvio, who beat a man to death with a hammer and then burned his house down in November of 1995. He received a life sentence, and now “identifies” as a woman. As Reduxx reported: “He was quietly transferred to MCF-Shakopee in November 2023, a full five months ahead of the date that a newly-drafted gender identity policy was set to take effect.” In fact, Governor Tim Walz recently settled a lawsuit with Craig Lusk, who now “identifies” as “Suzanne.” From Breitbart:
“In June 2022, Lusk launched a discrimination lawsuit against the Minnesota Department of Corrections which ultimately resulted in the implementation of measures permitting male convicts to be housed in the female estate,” reported Reduxx. Lusk received backing from the transgender non-profit organization Gender Justice, which reportedly received nearly “$500,000 in taxpayer funds from the administration of Governor Tim Walz.”
“The Democratic vice presidential nominee’s office handed out $448,904 to Gender Justice just one year after the organization filed the sex discrimination complaint against Minnesota’s DOC on behalf of Lusk, according to a review of public records published by the taxpayer watchdog group OpenTheBooks.com,” noted the outlet.
The legal complaint called Lusk “a woman who was assigned male at birth.” He began taking female hormones in 2009 before receiving chest implants in 2017.
We know what happens when male criminals are sent to female prisons, and we know what happens when vulnerable women are locked up with violent men. There have been dozens of stories over the last few years of women being raped, assaulted, and threatened by the transgender-identifying prisoners that have been suddenly placed in their prisons. These women cannot get away, and men who frequently have a history of violence against women and children are being placed in their cells and showers and common areas – and these policies are championed by Kamala Harris and Tim Walz.
