(LifeSiteNews) — Today’s episode of The John-Henry Westen Show features another young traditional Catholic trying to navigate these utterly confusing times in the life of the Church. (If you missed yesterday’s show with another young traditional Catholic, Joseph Rigi, click here.)

Gabby Maccio, a psychology major from Texas and practicing Catholic, describes the damage done by Latin Mass restrictions in her diocese and shares what motivated her to courageously start speaking out against them.

As part of Preserve the Latin Mass‘ “Suffering Faithful Video Series,” Maccio shared a 90-second testimonial that ended up going somewhat viral. Maccio tells me on today’s show that she initially stumbled upon the Latin Mass “by accident” but was drawn in by its great beauty and reverence.

Maccio believes Latin Mass restrictions negatively affect young people like her the most.

“I went to Mater Dei in Dallas, Texas, recently. I don’t even think I saw a single person over the age of 50,” she says. “Everyone was a young adult, almost everyone, and it was packed. They had six Masses on Sundays and it was filled to the brim with people, even outside in a different room watching it on a screen, because there was not even space in the church.”

“I think a lot of bishops actually have that kind of inverted, ironically, that they think that people don’t like [the Latin Mass],” Maccio continues. “I think young people love it. Young people want to be there and and learn how to pray through it.”

The John-Henry Westen Show is available by video on the show’s YouTube channel and right here on my LifeSite blog.
