In January 2022, the COVID tyranny seemed beyond challenge. The coordinated action of dozens of governments was keeping their peoples in thrall. But as hundreds of truckers made their way to Ottawa, the world learned that resistance was possible.
A “Freedom Convoy,” emerging from the heart of Canada, gave courage to hearts worldwide.
No longer was Canada known only for being governed by one of the worst globalist regimes, now the world could also see that for many of her sons and daughters she remained the “true north, strong and free.”
The truckers were truly fighting for us and for our freedom.
And that’s why they were crushed.

Friends, globalists fear nothing more than ordinary men and women taking action to defend their freedom and their families.
That’s why the truckers had to be stopped, no matter what the cost.
Canada’s Liberal tyrant, Justin Trudeau, took unprecedented measures to end an entirely peaceful protect, and doing so he exposed the new nature of his government.
His regime was so threatened by this act of resistance that he used the Emergencies Act to send police against peaceful protestors.
And they even froze personal bank accounts to make sure donations couldn’t get through.
That last action really caused shockwaves worldwide. At that moment they took off their masks and millions saw them for what they really are.
The brave resistance of the truckers had forced the regime to show its hand.
While COVID measures have been rolled back, and a semblance of normality has now returned, we should not be deceived. The globalists haven’t gone away. They are just biding their time.
Our battle for freedom has only just begin.
For many of us, life has got back to “normal” since 2022.
But that isn’t so for two leaders of the movement. Tamara Lich and Chris Barber are facing time in jail.
After a trial lasting more than a year, Chris Barber was found guilty of mischief and counseling others to disobey a court order, and Tamara Lich of mischief alone.
And on Saturday, July 19, Lich announced on X:
We learned last evening that the crown has submitted their materials to our legal teams for our upcoming sentencing hearing. They are seeking a 7 year prison sentence for myself and 8 years for @ChrisBarber1975.
Lich and Barber are facing seven and eight years respectively for organizing a peaceful protest to defend our freedoms.
There is only one reason for sentences like this: they want to lock Lich and Barber up as an example to others.
This is the same reason they are locking people up for social media posts in Britain.
They want us too terrified to defend our freedoms.
That’s why at LifeSiteNews.com we are going to do exactly the opposite.
We are going to speak the truth more loudly and more boldly than ever before.
And we going to start by exposing the full truth about the Canadian government’s persecution of Lich and Barber.

The case of the pro-life political prisoners in Washington, D.C., showed this clearly.
The Biden administration imprisoned 23 pro-lifers for peaceful attempts to save babies from abortion.

And on January 23, 2025, President Donald Trump officially pardoned all 23 prisoners.
These pardons would not have happened if media like LifeSiteNews hadn’t kept the case in the public eye.
Now we need to do the same for Lich and Barber, and for everyone whose lives and freedom are threatened because they have stood up to the totalitarian world order.
