August 4, 2017 (LifeSiteNews) — The first three posts in this series revealed why social conservatives have had good reasons to be astonished and grateful for many bold pro-life actions by President Trump. However, he has disappointed and not yet adequately honored his promises on religious liberty especially regarding “LGBT … ” issues.

Some praiseworthy measures have been enacted, but they have been much less than needed and promised. Still, there can be understandable reasons for Trump not yet having done what he should have on these issues. (watch video below starting at 2:36.)

The now labeled (and always changing) “LBGT … ” issues are among the most manipulated and misreported in society at this time. There is massive false propaganda, being promoted as fact, that is funded by a network of homosexual and other billionaires such as

Most Christian pastors have not taught anything on the homosexual/transgender issue for decades. Among other reasons for this failure, they are fearful and intimidated by the threat of being labelled “homophobic” and have fallen for the wildly successful but contrived “gay victim” marketing strategy developed by two Harvard gay activists in 1989.

So it is no wonder that secular leaders, including Trump, are poorly informed on the personal dangers and serious negative social outcomes of widespread acceptance of “LBGT … ” thought, behavior and influence on society.

There are intense differences on these issues within the U.S. government. It is highly likely that large numbers of militantly pro-“LGBT … ” persons have been promoted to all government branches, including the military, at every level, by the AlinskyMarxist-community-organizer-driven Obama administration. It should not be surprising that even an Admiral has already stated he will refuse to implement Trump’s just-announced ban on transgendered persons in the military.

At LifeSite, the most hateful, vulgar, irrational, threatening and lowest level of comments that we receive usually comes from homosexual/transgender activists. Many others have experienced the same thing and naturally Trump has also experienced it in reaction to the several positive actions he has taken on these issues.

Critics of “LBGT … ” fear having to cope with such reactions that result from speaking or writing truth about the dangers of homosexuality and transgenderism – no matter how charitably this is presented.

For Trump to do what he must on these issues, he is going to have to risk the most vile reactions imaginable. But he is one of very few leaders who I believe is capable of standing up to such personal trashing – and winning against it.

Trump has proved to be an unusually tough political fighter. However, he needs more education on why America is endangered if the “LGBT … ” movement continues to get its way. He needs to be informed about the New World Order globalist elites and UN bureaucrats who are leading the push for forced acceptance of “LBGT … ” ideology, which is cultural Marxist ideology. Trump needs to understand that these people are his enemies and America’s enemies.

Here is a chronological list of  President Trump’s positive and negative record to date on gay, transgender and religious freedom issues (if anything has been missed please add in the story comments):

  • November 14, 2016 – Trump asserted in a CBS “60 Minutes” interview  that the Supreme Court’s Obergefell ruling endorsing homosexual “marriage” is “settled” law. That contradicted statements he made on the campaign trail supporting a reversal of Obergefell, and appealing to “faith” voters for whom the imposition of radically redefined marriage is a major issue. In February, leading up to the South Carolina GOP primary, Trump called Obergefell a “shocking decision” and told Christian Broadcasting Network reporter David Brody that evangelicals could trust him to stand up for traditional marriage. He has not yet done so.
  • Dec 13, 2016 Trump chose Exxon-Mobil CEO Rex Tillerson as his Secretary of State. Tillerson, as a former Boy Scouts of America national president, in response to gay activist pressures, pushed for the Scouts to accept openly homosexual boy members — a capitulation that led millions of Americans to abandon or question their support of the youth organization.
  • January 13, 2017 – Anthony Scaramucci was picked for a top job advising President-elect Trump, a role comparable to Valerie Jarrett’s preeminent role in the Obama White House. Scaramucci told the BBC in November: “I’m … a gay rights activist. … I’ve given to the [pro-“gay” Republican] American Unity PAC … to the Human Rights Campaign, I’m for … marriage equality.”
  • February 3, 2017 – Trump let stand an Obama 2014 executive order that added “gender identity” to federal workforce nondiscrimination criteria and that forces federal contractors to have pro-homosexual, pro-transgender policies. This shocked pro-family leaders. Trump extended the order after a lobbying campaign by the Log Cabin Republicans.
  • February 13, 2017 – * Positive – The Trump administration announced it will not defend the Obama administration’s transgender school bathrooms mandate. Angry condemnations of Trump resulted.
  • February 15, 2017 – Trump allowed Obama’s “LGBT International Envoy,” homosexual activist Randy Berry, to stay on the job in the new Republican administration. This was the most unexpected, disturbing and harmful action by Trump on the “LGBT … ” issues. Tony Perkins, president of the Family Research Council, stated that “keeping Berry only signals to the world that the extreme agenda of the Obama years is still deeply entrenched in the State Department.” The State Department is headed by strong gay rights supporter Rex Tillerson.
  • February 23, 2017 – Secretary of Education Betsy DeVos opposed the reversal of the Obama transgender-school mandate in internal battles within the Trump administration. DeVos’s record on “LGBT … ” issues indicates that she supports much of the homosexual activist agenda. Still, on May 29, De Vos stood up against hostile questioning and defended the right of states to fund Christian schools that prohibited openly homosexual or transgender students or staff in their schools.
  • March 10, 2017 – President Trump chose openly homosexual and “gay Christian” advocate Rick Grenell to be the U.S. Ambassador to NATO. Grenell advocates for homosexual “marriage” as a “conservative” issue. He criticized “loud religious right activists” who oppose homosexuality.
  • April 5, 2017 –  * Positive – Trump chose a Tea Party, pro-life conservative Christian and former U.S. Army flight surgeon, Tennessee State Sen. Mark Green, as Secretary of the Army in a move that LGBTQ activists denounced. Green was to fill the spot occupied by Eric Fanning, who was appointed in 2016 by former President Obama as the first “out” homosexual to hold the post. Because of very hostile reaction from gay activists, Green withdrew his name from for the post on May 9.
  • April 11, 2017 — * Positive – President Trump appointed social conservative Roger Severino to head the Office of Civil Rights of the Department of Health and Human Services (HHS) in a choice celebrated by pro-family advocates and condemned by pro-LGBTQ leftists.
  • April 27, 2017 – Fifty-two Republican Congressmen asked President Trump to issue the Feb. 2 draft “executive order” defending religious liberty that was shelved, reportedly with the influence of Trump’s daughter, Ivanka, after being pilloried by the pro-“LGBT … ” Left.
  • May 2, 2017 – * Positive – Trump broke with the Obama tradition of designating June as ‘LGBT Pride Month’. He has received intense condemnations for doing so.
  •  May 4, 2017 – * Positive – Trump signed an Executive Order titled “Promoting Free Speech and Religious Liberty,” allowing churches to speak about politics from the pulpit while keeping their tax-exempt status and it provides regulatory relief for ordinary Americans who don’t subscribe to gender ideology or believe in same-sex “marriage.” This was much less than needed and previously expected, but it was at least a step in the right direction of undoing all that President Obama imposed on the nation on these issues.
  • May 4, 2017 – Ryan T. Anderson, prominent natural marriage defender with the Heritage Foundation, stated that Trump’s Executive Order was “woefully inadequate,” “does not address the major threats to religious liberty in the United States today,” and is a mere shadow of the vastly better original draft leaked in February.
  • May 8, 2017 – The most-criticized element of the executive order is its lack of specific protection for Americans who live their beliefs that marriage is between a man and a woman. Religious freedom and pro-marriage advocate Professor Robert P. George tweeted that the executive order contains no substantial conscience protections. He suggested Ivanka Trump and Jared Kushner, who are known for supporting the “LGBT … ” cause, “won” and “we lost.”
  • June 19, 2017 – President Trump did not object when Rhode Island Teacher of the Year, Nikos Giannopoulos, a proud and out homosexual, asked the President if he could hold a fan and pose in a provocatively “gay” manner for his photo with the President and his wife Melania in the Oval Office.
  • June 30, 2017 – The Trump UN delegation shocked UN social conservative lobbyists when, continuing Obama administration policy, it called for international recognition of homosexual relations at the Human Rights Council in Geneva. However, the action should have been expected given that the President allowed Obama’s “LGBT International Envoy,” homosexual activist Randy Berry, to stay on the job in the new Republican administration.
  • July 6, 2017* Positive – Trump named Bethany Kozma, who actively opposed former President Obama’s transgender bathroom agenda, as Senior Adviser in the Gender Equality and Women’s Empowerment division under the U.S. Agency for International Development (USAID). Homosexual organizations condemned Kozma’s appointment, and pro-marriage and family groups praised it.
  • July 25, 2017 – Trump appointed pro-gay, pro-abortion Anthony Scaramucci as his new Communications Director.
  • July 26, 2017 – * Positive – Trump announced a ban on transgendered persons in the military reversing an Obama policy that was planned to go into effect July 1. Social liberals responded with fury accusing him of “heinous and disgusting action” and “bowing to evangelical hate groups.” The ban has yet to be formally drafted and enacted, but, if successfully implemented, it may signal the President is finally beginning to understand the danger to the nation of far left, sexual radicalization agendas. Those agendas were given a high priority by President Obama and his many globalist and Marxist friends.
  • July 31, 2017 – * Positive – Trump fired Scaramucci after his vulgar, profanity-laced rants against Chief of Staff Reince Priebus and Trump adviser Stephen Bannon after a New Yorker magazine interview became public.
  • July 31, 2017 – * Positive – Trump appointed pro-life Kansas Governor Brownback to a religious persecution watchdog post called “Ambassador for Religious Freedom.” Brownback will lead the Office of International Religious Freedom which monitors how people of religion are treated across the globe. The appointment was met with immediate disapproval from homosexual activists.
  • Aug. 9, 2017 –  The U.S. Embassy in the Czech Republic lit up with “rainbow colors,” Obama-style, to promote “Prague Pride Week” as America’s pro-homosexuality foreign policy continues under Trump with a liberal State Department bureaucracy firmly committed to LGBT “rights.” C-Fam has stated, advancing “the LGBT agenda was one of the top priorities of the Obama administration “and one of the only areas where they actually made progress,” from the Left’s perspective.”
  • October 6, 2017 *Positive – Trump admin reverses Obama policy: ‘Gender identity’ not a protected civil right
  • October 12, 2017 – * Positive – Trump pulls U.S. out of pro-abortion, pro-LGBT (UNESCO), a UN agency that advocates for abortion, homosexuality, and radical sex education for young children.
  • November 13, 2017*Positive – Gov’t agency reverses Obama guidelines, allows pro-marriage speech at work
  • November 22, 2017 – Trump’s State Department recognizes ‘Transgender Day of Remembrance’
  • December 14, 2017 – Trump shocks conservatives in renominating LGBT activist to top anti-discrimination post
  • January 3, 2018 – * Positive – Trump replaces Obama-appointed gay ambassador with family man: report
  • January 5, 2018 – * Positive – President Trump nominates marriage champion to the federal bench
  • January 16, 2018 – * Positive – President Trump proclaims January 16 ‘Religious Freedom Day’ – “No American — whether a nun, nurse, baker, or business owner — should be forced to choose between the tenants of faith or adherence to the law.”
  • January 23, 2018 – Trump congratulates Republican LGBT activist group on its 40th anniversary
  • February 20, 2018 – * Positive – Trump district court nominee calls same-sex ‘marriage’ and contraception an ‘assault on nature’
  • March 31, 2018 – *Positive – Trump Revokes Obama Executive Order Awarding Contracts to Companies With LGBT Policies
  • June 13, 2018 – *Positive – Pentagon brass influenced by Trump admin refuse to honor LGBT ‘pride month’ – For the first time since former President Barack Obama repealed the military’s “Don’t Ask, Don’t Tell” policy during the early years of his presidency, Pentagon officials have chosen not to honor LGBT ‘Pride Month’ with a formal acknowledgment.
  •  June 29, 2018 – Trump nominates LGBT activist and former Log Cabin Republicans head to top State Dept. post
  • Jul 31, 2018 – *Positive Trump admin vows to stop punishing countries that oppose homosexuality; LGBT activists outraged
  • August 24, 2018 – Trump nominates lesbian judge tied to LGBT groups for federal bench
  • Oct 3, 2018 – * Positive – Trump denies visas to same-sex partners of diplomats who aren’t ‘married’, LGBT lobby outraged
  • October 12, 2018 – Trump picks openly gay member of LGBT law group for liberal Ninth Circuit court

As you can see from the list there is a recent tendency for the president to start taking more positive actions on these issues. Still, President Trump needs much continuing prayer and encouragement to keep doing the right things. He especially needs to stop appointing people who are committed to the Obama policies to destroy the natural family and spread a very harmful, radical sexual culture throughout the United States and the world.

On Monday, Part 5 will be published – “The major influences on Trump regarding “LBGT … ‘”
