As the names of the victims of the 9/11 terrorist attacks were being read out on Sunday at a memorial service in Shankesville, Pennsylvania, an unborn victim was included.

“Lauren Catuzzi Grandcolas…” the name was read, after which the bell that was struck after the name of each victim rang: “…and unborn child,” the reader of the names continued, after which the bell was struck again.

A fitting reminder that, yes, the life of an unborn child was brought to an untimely end by the terrorist attacks that day – just as the life of an unborn child is brought to an untimely end in every abortion.
