Pregnancy centers defeat onerous regulations in Baltimore

In 2009, abortion advocates succeeded in getting regulations passed that would require pregnancy centers to post notices in English and Spanish stating that they do not “provide or make referrals for abortion or birth-control services.” The law singled out the centers and by requiring this government notice be posted sent a message to the vulnerable women who visited that the centers sought to deceive. French Senate defeats euthanasia bill by 170 to 142

Last night the Senate in France defeated a bill to legalize euthanasia by a vote of 170 to 142. The euthanasia bill was sponsored in the French Senate by Jean-Pierre Godefroy (Parti Socialiste), Alain Fouché (UMP) and François Autain and Guy Fischer (Parti communiste-Parti de gauche). The bill would have allowed euthanasia for people with disabilities, those with chronic conditions and people who are defined as terminal. Three relatives of Martin Luther King Jr. release statement opposing abortion

In the midst of our nation’s commemorations last week of Dr. Martin Luther King, Jr., and on the eve of the anniversary of the tragic Roe vs. Wade decision legalizing child-killing, three members of the family of Dr. Martin Luther King issued a statement (below) declaring that the Beloved Community includes unborn children.
