A seven-year-old Ohio boy is dead, beaten and restrained in a home shared by his mother and two transgender adults. The question is whether the state and the Church will respond with the urgency the case demands or continue to accommodate the ideology that made it possible. The outrage is real. The response must be immediate. And the protection of children must be the priority.
