THE MONEY BEHIND THE RIGHT-TO-DIE
WASHINGTON, D.C., Feb 17 (LSN) The January Foundation Watch report of the Capital Research Center exposes some of the major donors pushing the pro-death movement in the US. Patrick Reilly, author of the study, reveals that millions of dollars are pumped into the movement by prominent foundations such as the Columbia Foundation, the Greenwall Foundation, the Walter & Elise Haas Fund and George Soros’ Open Society Institute. The leading funder of advocates for physician- assisted suicide, though, is the San Francisco-based Wallace Alexander Gerbode Foundation which funnels money through non-profit organizations for undisclosed efforts to promote “death with dignity.”
