MANILLA, January 15, 2003 (LifeSiteNews.com) – Contraceptives which are foisted on the Philippines in astronomical quantities by population-control minded nations are being used creatively by rural health care workers.  The Philippine Daily Inquirer newspaper quotes Health Secretary Manuel Dayrit as admitting rural health centers are oversupplied with artificial birth control pills and condoms.  “Our supply (of contraceptives) is so high that in provinces people running health centres use the pills to grow orchids and (use) condoms for party balloons,” he said.  See the Sydney Morning Herald coverage:  https://www.smh.com.au/articles/2003/01/15/1042520673655.html
