OTTAWA, November 9, 2016 (LifeSiteNews) -- When the possibility that Donald Trump could be elected president of the United States began to set in Tuesday night, Canada's immigration website crashed, possibly as a result of pro-Hillary supporters looking for an exit strategy out of the USA.

The government site is reported to have gone down about 10:30 p.m. ET Tuesday night, as Trump numbers began soaring. There was intermittent accessibility after that.

Attempting to visit the website resulted in an error that states: “There is a problem with the resource you are looking for, and it cannot be displayed.”
