“I only wish I could give more.”

It really humbles us when we are often reminded by such comments of the depth of the sacrifices that many of our readers make to support LifeSiteNews. These comments, some of which are listed below, have resonated in our hearts.

As for all of us at LifeSiteNews, we are doing our part to bring you the best and most unique stories on life, family, faith, and culture-related issues. We hope and pray that our efforts are a worthy response to the donations, prayers, and touching emails of support that we have been getting.

With 15 days remaining in our 2010 Christmas Campaign, we are still far from our goal of $150,000 by December 31 – but our readers are gradually getting us there.

Although we have certainly made enormous strides in 2010, our accomplishments are always accompanied by many obstacles, both small and large.

It certainly hasn’t been an easy trek at times for our staff, but then, that should be expected given the nature of the subjects that we are covering.

It can be quite the personal challenge to research and write on abortion, euthanasia, homosexuality, stem cell research, pornography, explicit sex-education, forced de-population programs, etc, etc.

However, the disturbing is always balanced out by the heroic and inspiring actions taken by those countering the anti-life and anti-family forces. These inspiring and hopeful stories have been increasing lately, and what a delight it is for us to report on them for all of you.

The new Culture of Life section, for instance, is one of our favorites, and many readers have also said it is theirs as well.

The difficulty of our work is also balanced by the personal prayer lives upon which all of our staff rely in order to carry on with this challenging work. And the many emails that we receive from readers telling us of their prayers for us also sustain us in a big way.

Following are just a few samples of the many comments that we have received during the current campaign. We think you will find them enlightening and well worth reading:

  • “LifeSiteNews is the most valuable, courageous report of pro-life news in the United States. Thank you for hanging in there for speaking the truth in love.”
    Sequim, Washington
  • “I thank you for all your efforts. I wish I could donate more. May God Bless You!!!”
    Verona, New Jersey
  • “Our family highly values LifeSiteNews. Keep on bringing us stories from the frontlines of the battle to save our culture from death.”
    Wooster, Ohio
  • “I am not working, presently, so this is what I could do. I feel your site/mission is very important.”
    Brentwood, California
  • “I wish this could be ten times larger, but this is the utmost I can do at this time. May God inspire many richer donors to come through!”
    Ojai, California
  • “I believe that your work is extremely important, and you are doing it well. I pray that your endeavors are fruitful.”
    Chimayo, New Mexico
  • “Thank you for your work! You’ve helped all of us, even those who cannot speak, immensely. God bless you!”
    Houston, Texas
  • “Spain is in a terrible crisis and here there are many needs, but I would like to once again say thank you for this invaluable service.”
    Algeciras, Spain
  • “Have a bit of a break. I don’t know how you keep going. God bless you all for your efforts. Your reward will be great in Heaven.”
    Canberra, Australia
  • “You are our main source of pro-life news.”
    Eastgrove, Illinois
  • “We need you more than you know.”
    Montreal, Quebec
  • “Yours in one of the news services that is trustworthy.”
    Smoky Lake, Alberta

We are truly grateful for the kind words of support and expressions of gratitude that we hear from our supporters throughout the world, and we want to thank all of you for standing beside us as our friends and allies.
Your support encourages us every day to keep up the fight.

It can be difficult to fight the culture of death, to expose the reality of the widespread deterioration of our cultural values, or to withstand unjust accusations from those who promote the anti-life and anti-family agendas.

But at LifeSiteNews, however, we know we can achieve great things because God is on our side as are all of you.

“If God is with us, who can stand against us?”

As well, please tell others about LifeSiteNews and encourage them to sign up. Tell them about our current needs while also emphasizing the great worth and effectiveness of our reports.

Once again, thank you for joining with us and using our reports in the battle for life, family, and truth.

God bless.
