UNITED NATIONS, Dec 4 (LSN) – Judie Brown, president of American Life League, has pre-empted pro-abortion propaganda bound to arrive this week regarding the December 10 commemoration of the 50th anniversary of the UN’s Universal Declaration of Human Rights . While the UN, is pushing for a re-interpretation of the Declaration to include abortion on demand as a “human right,” Brown called attention to the protection for all life enshrined in the document.  “Article 2 of the declaration states that ‘everyone is entitled to all the rights and freedoms set forth in this declaration, without distinction of any kind,’” said Mrs. Brown. “It then specifically mentions ‘birth’ as one of conditions that should not carry any distinction. Also, Article 3 states, ‘Everyone has the right to life, liberty and security of person.’”“When you consider these two basic principles enumerated at the very beginning of the document,” said Mrs. Brown, “it is difficult to understand how the United Nations can systematically foster programs that are nothing less than search-and-destroy missions to eliminate innocent human beings just because they have not yet been born.”
