EDMONTON, Alberta (LifeSiteNews) – A Member of the Legislative Assembly (MLA) in Alberta slammed his province over its vaccine mandates for workers.

On Tuesday, Peter Guthrie, a United Conservative Party MLA, rebuked his own government over its vaccine mandates for provincial workers and its empowerment of private businesses to impose their own mandates on the residents of Alberta.

“I support the committee recommendations and oppose any organization directing mandatory use of an active medical procedure, including vaccinations, on the citizens of this province,” Guthrie told the legislature.

“Unfortunately, over the course of the last few months, we have seen government organizations, institutions, and businesses implement vaccination policies with termination as a result of non-compliance,” added the politician.

“I unequivocally disagree with this approach.”

Provincial institutions such as Alberta Health Services (AHS) have already imposed a strict vaccine mandate for all workers, requiring employees, including medical professionals such as doctors and nurses, to receive at least one of the experimental COVID-19 jabs by November 30 or be placed on unpaid leave.

Additionally, many municipal governments have imposed their own vaccine coercion policies, applying to first responders working in various police and fire departments across the province.

“I also hold dear the rights and freedoms of those to choose in matters pertaining to their bodies and personal health,” Guthrie continued in his address.

“A viewpoint shared by many Albertans is that we should have less government interference in our personal and business lives, not more. Creating legislation or supporting policy that may well be unconstitutional, and acting based on societal views at any moment in time — even if one agrees with those views — sets a poor precedent and, in my opinion, has governments going down a slippery slope.”

Freedom-loving Australians are sending out an urgent call for help, a veritable SOS.

Over the past year and a half, Australia's democracy has been replaced by a type of medical fascism which has grasped control of power by using police state tactics.

In that time, freedoms have been curtailed or suppressed altogether and human rights have been abused, often with the use of the police force.

Please WATCH this video from our friends at Reignite Democracy Australia to better understand how BAD it is right now in Australia.

And, the situation just continues to deteriorate, so much so that our friends Down Under are now asking for outside help.

We simply must come to their aid! But, what can we do?

Please consider participating in the following two action items:

1) SAVE THE DATE and ATTEND a Pro-Freedom Rally on DEC. 4th (12pm, local time) at the Australian High Commission in Ottawa, (address below), or at an Australian consulate office in one of the cities listed below

2) Please SIGN and SHARE this petition, directed to The Acting High Commissioner of Australia to Canada, Ms Katherine Ruiz-Avila, asking her to:

  • End the lockdowns in Australia
  • End police brutality in Australia
  • End mandatory vaccinations in Australia
  • Restore the freedoms of speech, assembly and travel in Australia

Remember, after signing, please make a note of this important date and time (and address, below): Saturday, December 4th, 2021, 12pm.

And, please commit to peaceful protest in support of Australian freedom at one of the locations below on that date!

Our friends Down Under are reaching their limits. So, we must now join them in their struggle to retain their freedoms and human rights against police brutality and medical dictatorship.

Thank you for taking part in this important campaign.

According to Canadian constitutional rights lawyer Rocco Galati, as well as former Newfoundland premier Brian Peckford, one of the co-authors of the Canadian Charter of Rights and Freedoms, vaccine coercion and vaccine mandates, particularly those imposed by the government, are “unconstitutional”

Per Section 7 of the Charter regarding the right to “Life, Liberty, and Security of the Person,” Peckford stated in a seminar last week, “You have a right to freedom, [and] you have a right to your security as a person. In other words, these injections are completely beyond the scope of the Charter and are illegal or unconstitutional.”

Peckford, Galati, and Guthrie are not the only Canadians opposed to the tyrannical actions of Alberta’s government and other provincial governments across the nation.

According to a letter obtained by the Western Standard last week, Guthrie informed the leader of the province and his own party, Premier Jason Kenney, that the UCP is on the verge of collapse.

“Public opinion continues to wane, and we may be at a point where this party cannot be salvaged,” wrote Guthrie.

“Membership has fallen from 150,000 to less than 10,000, and fundraising is evaporating along with our credibility.”

Thousands of healthcare workers in the province of Alberta, including nearly 200 doctors, also oppose jab mandates and even recently vowed to fight the government’s decision. Moreover, they raised the alarm over adverse injection reactions witnessed firsthand.

“We are vaccinated and unvaccinated healthcare professionals, from multiple disciplines, standing together against the AHS covid vaccine mandate. We stand for principles of medical autonomy, informed consent and freedom of choice,” reads the “Health Professionals United” webpage.

“As front-line health care workers, we have witnessed serious adverse events, including deaths, that were temporally, closely associated from the administration of these vaccines,” it continues.

“We decisively conclude that we are in strong opposition to mandatory vaccination.”
