VAN NUYS, California, March 8, 2010 (LifeSiteNews.com) – Pro-lifers in the Los Angeles area are gearing up for the 7th annual Los Angeles March for Life, which will feature several pro-life celebrities as speakers this year.

The Los Angeles march will be held on Saturday, March 13th from 8:00 am – 11:30 am at St. Cyril of Jerusalem Church located at 15520 Ventura Blvd., Encino, CA.

Participants will walk two miles on Ventura Boulevard in an effort to raise awareness of the plight of unborn children and the sanctity of all life.

The Los Angeles March for Life is sponsored by the Knights of Columbus, Van Nuys Council 3148, as a non-denominational gathering to express concern for the civil rights for the pre-born and all life.

This year’s march will include speeches from several national pro-Life leaders: Lila Rose from UCLA Live Action, Father Peter West of Priests for Life (New York), Guyla Mills from Silent No More, Joel Tolck and Joe Langfeld, from Human Life Alliance (Minnesota), Cheryl Conrad and Jeff White of Survivors, L.A., and Pastor Walter Hoye from Oakland.

Father West has given over 1000 pro-life homilies from coast-to-coast and, along with Patti Flores, will lead a 40 Days for Life Prayer Vigil in the San Fernando Valley from February 17th – March 28, 2010.
