CALGARY, July 2 (LifeSiteNews.com) – Justice Ged Hawco ruled Wednesday that banning information on genetic abortions from the public is not in the public interest. He did, however, rule that the names of doctors and other workers associated with the practice should not be made public. The ruling,  the final agreements of which are to come in the near future, is being seen by many as a solid victory for Alberta Report magazine since it did not publish the names of the doctors and apparently had no intention of doing so.

Last month a court order forbade AR from reporting further on the infanticide taking place at Foothills Hospital in Calgary from material contained in the documents leaked to them by a nurse at the institution. The magazine fought the order in court alongside Southam Inc., which was there on behalf of the Edmonton Journal.
