My name is Abby Johnson. Many of you might know me from my 2011 book, “Unplanned,” which told how I left my job as the director of a Planned Parenthood abortion clinic in Texas, and became a pro-life advocate.

When I left Planned Parenthood, I was extremely nervous. I was immediately thrown into the media spotlight, and I had no idea what it was going to be like to be a public figure in the pro-life movement.

I also had a lot to learn about the pro-life movement, and all the issues related to the fight for the right to life of the unborn.

Fortunately, I quickly discovered LifeSite.

Not only were the staff and writers of LifeSite some of the first pro-life activists to embrace me and to share my story, but they quickly became my go-to source to find the news and information I needed to become an effective pro-life advocate.

It is my great honor in writing you today to ask you to join me in supporting LifeSite's annual Fall Campaign fundraiser.

They must raise at least $150,000 in the next two weeks to continue operating, and they need our help.

And to be honest, we need them! I know from personal experience just how critically important the work of LifeSite is, not just to me, but the whole pro-life movement!

That’s why I want to urge you to support LifeSite's campaign today with as generous a gift as you possibly can!

To me, one of the most amazing things about LifeSite is how eager they are to support and spread the word about the great work that other pro-life individuals and organizations are doing.

As you might already know, my own ministry, And Then There Were None (ATTWN), reaches out to abortion clinic workers, offering them the help they need to get out of the industry, and to find hope and healing.

When we first launched ATTWN, I didn’t know how the pro-life movement was going to react to this totally new type of ministry!

Thankfully, LifeSite was there, eager to do anything they could help make our ministry a success.

From the beginning it was LifeSite, more than anyone else, that wanted to break the story of our launch, and to support our work!

To date, ATTWN has helped 125 abortion workers leave the abortion industry! Throughout this journey, LifeSite has always been there to offer us support, to share the amazing stories of these former abortion workers, and to encourage their readers to support our work.

But LifeSite is also a huge support to me personally!

To do my work in the pro-life movement, I need to find stories on the issues that impact the work I do. It's part of my job. And, of course, I just want the facts.

And I know I can always turn to LifeSite to find this information, presented in a professional, no-nonsense, and factual way.

My first stop to find this kind of reporting is always LifeSite, because I find their journalistic integrity to be among the highest of any group I have ever worked with!

Another one of the many things I love about LifeSite is how they incorporate so many other types of issues into their news service.

I always know their articles will provide greater insight into things I have never thought of before, because they are connecting so many dots that help us see the big-picture perspective necessary to be effective in this battle for life!

Their writers cover issues like the harmful effects of pornography, bioethical issues, healthcare, family, and political issues – not just abortion.

LifeSite writes on a whole variety of issues plaguing our culture and society every day and provides us everything we need to know as Christians and pro-life supporters.

That’s why today I would like to ask you to join me in helping LifeSite reach their fall campaign goal.

After all, it’s not just leaders in the life and family movement that rely on LifeSite, we ALL need a good resource we can turn to for solid, factual information.

And without LifeSite providing us with these breaking stories, we would all have a much harder time fighting this fight to create a Culture of Life.

So, please give generously, give sacrificially, and give today!
