GRANADA, Spain, Apr 18 (LifeSiteNews.com) – The International Congress “Europe for Life” which was held last week in Granada, said that abortion is the “greatest of injustices, because it is exerted upon the most innocent and defenseless human being.” The Congress, organized by the Pontifical Council for the Family on occasion of the 5th anniversary of Pope John Paul II’s Encyclical Evangelium Vitae, also condemned euthanasia “even when it is asked for by the patient, it is an immoral and direct collaboration with suicide.”
Closing the conference, Archbishop Antonio Cañizares of Granada, urged participants to “strongly demand abolition of the capital punishment that is applied to the unborn.”
