LONDON, April 3, 2002 (LSN.ca) – The UK-based biotechnology company CellFactors has launched sales of cells derived from the brains and spinal cords of aborted babies. The company is claiming that its “immortalised neural cell lines” can replicate indefinitely.
The company’s release notes that their “neural cell lines, probably the most accurate in vitro representation of human brain and spinal tissue ever available for research, are already attracting interest from biotechnology and pharmaceutical companies around the world.”
