Departure Hailed as Pro-Life Victory   DORCHESTER, May 22, 2002 (LSN.ca) – Howard Brown, the Director of Counseling Services at Catholic Charities in Dorchester, a facility that counsels pregnant women has left his position with Catholic Charities.  The report of Brown’s departure comes only months after pro-lifers found out about Brown’s voluntary job as an escort at an abortuary through a report in Massachusetts News.  The Chairman of the Board for Mass. Citizens for Life, Thomas M. Harvey, commented to Massachusetts News on Brown’s leaving saying, “Defenders of the unborn should be gladdened by the news that pro-abortion zealot Howard Brown is no longer employed by Catholic Charities. It is still incomprehensible how Catholic Charities could have permitted him to work as a director of counseling while it was aware that he simultaneously was assisting in the destruction of unborn babies as a Planned Parenthood escort. Even now, there is no indication that Catholic Charities’ termination of Mr. Brown was done for the proper reason.”  See LifeSite’s related coverage:  DIRECTOR OF CATHOLIC PREGNANCY COUNSELING CENTER IS AN ESCORT AT ABORTUARY https://www.lifesitenews.com/ldn/2002/feb/02022504.html   See the coverage in Massachusetts News:  https://www.massnews.com/2002_editions/05_May/051702_mn_brown.shtml
