GERMANTOWN, Maryland, December 2, 2015 (LifeSiteNews) – Late-term abortionist LeRoy Carhart is going all-out for Christmas festivities, report local pro-life advocates – including sending a Christmas CD to a pro-life center.

In an exclusive e-mail, Germantown pro-life leader Ellen Castellano told LifeSiteNews that “for the first time in five years,” Carhart “decorated the front of his office with a wreath and fake poinsettia.”

Carhart also sent a Christmas CD and card to Germantown Pregnancy Choices, a pro-life center across the street from his abortion facility. The card wished “Dearest Anti-Woman Extremist” a “Merry Christmas and Best Wishes for a Wonderful Holiday Season and a Happy New Year.”

It also said, “With love from all of us here at Germantown” and offered a wish that pro-lifers “Stay warm this winter.”

The CD features 12 popular Christmas tunes, including “O Holy Night,” “Away in a Manger,” “The First Noel,” and “Little Town of Bethlehem.”

Castellano, who organizes 12 sidewalk counselors each day that Carhart's clinic does abortions, told LifeSiteNews that “the significance of an abortionist like Carhart pretending to have Christian values and honoring Christmas is a slap in the face and a complete farce. The message they are sending is so messed up (we kill babies for a living, yet honor the birth of the Savior).”

Castellano believes that Carhart's efforts are “the fruit of a major network allowing such an offensive scene to be shown to millions. It has emboldened the abortionists and staff to further deny the reality of what they do and to continue to try to normalize their morbid business.”

Last month, ABC's “Scandal” played “Silent Night” and “Ava Maria” while showing a character having an abortion. Many media voices celebrated the depiction.

Carhart, who was recently caught violating Nebraska's abortion laws, is one of America's most notorious abortionists. In 2013, a 29-year-old woman died after going to his Germantown clinic.
