AKRON, OHIO, October 30, 2001 (LSN.ca) – Planned Parenthood in Akron Ohio is bringing abortifacient morning-after-pills to the “doorsteps of poor women” according to a story in the Akron Beacon Journal yesterday. With a $100,000 grant from a federal fund set up to get women off welfare, the program, which began in May, travels to poor areas bringing “birth control pills, condoms and morning-after pills.”
