WESTERN AUSTRALIA, May 21 (LSN) – The Western Australian upper house gave final approval today to a law allowing abortion on demand. The new law stipulates that a woman must undergo counselling before opting to abort her child and also must have the support of two doctors. Richard Egan of the Coalition for the Defence of Human Life in Australia noted that by passing the law, parliament had become “a gang of criminals” and vowed to continue the fight for life despite the new law.
