CHICAGO, May 10 (Lifesitenews.com) – Anthony T. Centracchio, who, according to the Associated Press, is “reputed to be among the five most powerful organized crime figures in Chicago” was arrested May 3, accused of heading a huge gambling and extortion racket. Centracchio was the owner of the A.C.T. Medical Clinic, an abortuary which he used to carry out many of his illegal activities.
In another abortuary story, two women who ran an illegal abortion practice in their home in Saudia Arabia have been sentenced to two years in prison and 700 lashes each. A doctor who was caught last month performing illegal abortions was sentenced to life in prison.
