KOZUCHOW, Poland, October 27, 2005 (LifeSiteNews.com) – An illegal abortionist is facing up to eight years in prison after a journalist there, posing as a pregnant woman in a sting operation, was offered an abortion.
Regional prosecutors began an investigation after a television documentary aired, revealing a 48-year-old gynaecologist offering a Polish TV 2 woman journalist an abortion, according to a Radio Polonia report. The report did not name the abortionist. Investigators said the doctor claimed innocence.
