ABORTION TASK FORCE FORMED IN US

WASHINGTON, Nov 9 (LSN)  On Thursday the US Department of Justice announced the formation of a federal task force to address violence wrought against abortionists and abortuaries.  The government taskforce assumes pro-life complicity in the attacks against abortionists and has excluded from the group any pro-life representation. Catholic World News reported Friday that the task force will consist of “one or more grand juries to help gather evidence and will bring together doctors’ groups, pro-abortion activists, the FBI, US Marshals, the Bureau of Alcohol, Tobacco, and Firearms, and local police in the US and Canada.”  Canadian pro-lifers remember the setting up of a similar task force by the former Ontario socialist government in 1992-93. At the time the ruling New Democratic Party along with its pro-abortion task force recommended drastic repression of freedom of expression and additional funding for abortion services. The legacy of this abortion squad includes the imprisonment of pro-life grandmothers for peaceful protest on public sidewalks, the expansion of abortion and a general suppression of opposition to pro-abortion ideology.
