MELBOURNE, Fla., Jan 6 (LifeSiteNews.com) On Thursday a trial begins over a controversial anti-abortion website which provides names, actions, addresses and other information on abortionists and associated abortion providers. A Channel 6000 news report distributed by Pro-Life E-news said that the multimillion-dollar lawsuit brought by Planned Parenthood, the Portland Feminist Women’s Health Center and five abortionists alleges that the lists of names and information constitute a threat against the “doctors” and thus contravene the 1994 Freedom of Access to Clinic Entrances Act.
The defendants (who are not part of the mainstream pro-life movement), according to the Associated Press, note that their actions fall under the protection of freedom of speech and note that none of the websites threaten violence. The website in question, the “Nuremberg Files,” explains that “one of the great tragedies of the Nuremberg trials of Nazis after WWII was that complete information and documented evidence had not been collected so many war criminals went free or were only found guilty of minor crimes.”
“We do not want the same thing to happen when the day comes to charge abortionists with their crimes We anticipate the day when these people will be charged in PERFECTLY LEGAL COURTS once the tide of this nation’s opinion turns against the wanton slaughter of God’s children (as it surely will).”
