BEVERLY HILLS, Calif., Oct 17 (LSN) — Vice President Al Gore was accused today of “craven pandering to Hollywood’’ when he praised the controversial show ‘Ellen’. Gore, delighted with Ellen’s coming out episode, said, “when the character Ellen came out, millions of American were forced to look at sexual orientation in a more open light’‘.

The move was praised by the homosexual lobby and by ABC but criticized by Christians. Randy Tate, executive director of the Christian Coalition, said Gore was “way out of the mainstream’’ and that most Americans see homosexuality as morally wrong.

Political analysts see it as an opportunistic endeavour noting the large contributions to the Democratic campaign by the TV networks.
