CALGARY, June 6 (LifeSiteNews.com) – The controversy over the Foothills hospital infanticide cases where aborted babies were mistakenly delivered alive and then starved to death has led to a policy proposal to ensure the babies are dead on arrival. The Alberta College of Physicians and Surgeons policy suggests that doctors should be able to inject the heart of the fetus with a fatal dose of sodium chloride so when it is induced it will not be born live.  The Calgary Herald reports that “the procedure known as feticide will be performed ‘in order to reduce suffering,’ says the college policy document to be approved by the college council at an open meeting Friday.”
