MEDICINE HAT, Alberta (LifeSiteNews) — Alberta school staff have been forced to undergo “2SLGBTQ+ Inclusive Education” training led by a man claiming to be a woman.

According to recently released documents, Medicine Hat School Division staff attended a mandatory “2SLGBTQ+ Inclusive Education” workshop this May run by Fyrefly Institute for Gender and Sexual Diversity‘s Education Coordinator Alex Marshall, a biological male who claims to be a woman.

“I know what ‘two-spirited’ means and would be comfortable explaining it to a student,” reads a preliminary survey obtained by Ontario-based investigative reporter and former teacher Chanel Pfahl.

The survey continued to question educators if they understood and could explain the terms “transgender,” “asexual,” “cisgender,” and “gender non-binary.”

An email sent to staff encouraged all members, including teachers, education assistants, administrators, and clerical workers, to wear “Pride apparel” during the six-and-a-half hour seminar.

The stated goal of the workshop was to “develop a comprehensive understanding of sexual and gender diverse terminology… understand the distinction between sex assigned at birth/gender identity/gender expression,” and discern best practices for supporting queer and trans colleagues and students.”

The presentation also included biased statistics including one which claimed that 13 percent of Canadians are LGBT. Pfahl pointed out that this number came from “a 15 minute online survey completed by 800 ‘heterosexual cisgender individuals’ and ‘1897 LGBT people,’ including 15- to 17-year-old ‘followers of LGBT organizations’ recruited via targeted ads on Facebook.”

Staff were also told they had a “professional obligation to respect students’ gender identity and gender expression, including pronouns.” Marshall claimed that the feelings of students trumped the rights of parents and provided resources to assist staff in “dealing with parents/caregivers.”

LGBT activists have become increasingly intolerant of teachers, parents, and students who oppose LGBT ideology as protests sweep across the country.

In June, Toronto Catholic teacher Paolo De Buono revealed that he told his eighth-grade students they are not allowed to say there are two genders, as part of his prevention of “racism, homophobia, and transphobia” in the classroom.

In July, the Osgoode Professional Development of York University announced they are hosting a session on combatting “Hate Activity in School Boards” for Ontario school trustees, directors, and senior school board leaders this Fall.

Additionally, a Saskatchewan principal called in police to question students who defied the narrative by making a public statement of being “straight and proud.”

However, the LGBT mob has failed to stop the flood of protests, many of which are organized by school children.

In July, pro-family protesters clashed with LGBT activists as residents protested the Greater Essex County District School Board’s controversial gender policy and decision to ban the public from board meetings.

Also in July, hundreds of Christian and Muslim parents gathered in Calgary to protest LGBT propaganda in schools.

Similarly, high school students from schools in Quebec and Ontario have torn down “Pride” flags amid cheers from fellow students.

Now, Canadian Muslims are planning a “Million Person March” in Ottawa on September 20 to join all Canadians in the fight against LGBT indoctrination in schools. Student activist Josh Alexander is set to be the youth leader for the event.
