News

I don’t recall any time in my life where there has been such a pressing need for good people to take an active role in the struggle to save our families and nations from intense assaults on all that is dear to us.

At LifeSiteNews, we have been receiving a consistent message from activists and leaders around the world: The war in which we are immersed is unprecedented.  The stakes are high, and defeat is not an option.

Before we become overwhelmed with the battle before us, let’s keep in mind the many signs of hope for life and family that we have been diligent in reporting to you.  Here is just a tiny sample of those signs:

  • The state of Missouri was successful in overriding a veto against a conscience protection bill introduced in response to the HHS mandate violation of conscience.
  • Canadian Member of Parliament Stephen Woodworth has vowed to defend life ‘as long as I have breath,’ making a historic motion in Parliament to debate the personhood of the unborn child.
  • Students for Life of America, the largest pro-life youth group in the country, launched a nationwide effort to inform young adults on college campuses about pro-life issues ahead of the November election.
  • Uruguayan ex-president, Tabaré Vázquez, has reaffirmed his stance for life as the Chamber of Deputies in the country prepares to vote on the depenalization of abortion.

The theme for our third quarter Fall Campaign, which begins today, is “Get informed. Get activated. Get involved.”  We have set a conservative (considering our real needs) goal of $100,000 to cover necessary operating expenses to continue this mission – for you.

Help us reach our Goal.

Over the years we have come to understand that our work, as so many life and family leaders and activists have commented, is more than just a news service.

We report much important news, certainly.  But our always reliable investigative reports have a special focus on information that you and other activists critically need to take action to change the culture.

With your help this Fall, we will be able to continue this mission to aid you and the whole movement to rally against the forces of darkness now threatening our most precious freedoms and principles.

The mountain of obstacles we face is overwhelming.  In Ontario, the fight for parental rights and against the child abuse of the homosexual agenda and deviant sex courses in schools is daunting. And there have been setbacks.

In the U.S. the Democratic Party has centered its platform for the upcoming election on abortion rights and gay “marriage”.  Australia and France are seeing similar battles on the horizon.

Equipped with truth, these battles have been, and can continue to be won for the culture of life.

Just as so many around the world depend upon the work of individuals in grassroots movements to protect and defend life and family, so we depend upon you, our readers to provide the financial assistance needed to keep this vital information service running.

We are relatively miniscule compared to the giant mainstream media, but our task and objectives are great.

As we have often told LifeSiteNews readers in the past, our punch has been far greater than our size – such is the power of truth that we do not fear to report.

When you donate to LifeSiteNews, your gift has an unusually large impact per dollar.  Your investment in LifeSiteNews is returned many times through often astonishing results on situations that we cover.  We, ourselves, continue to be amazed by these ongoing developments.

This fall, get informed – get activated – get involved.
