STRASBOURG, France (LifeSiteNews) — Yet another Member of European Parliament (MEP) publicly condemned Trudeau for his actions against the Freedom Convoy during his visit to Strasbourg.

German MEP Christine Anderson joined Croatian MEP Mislav Kolakusic in the evisceration of Prime Minister Justin Trudeau on Wednesday, calling the Canadian leader a “disgrace” with a “perverted concept of democracy.” Both MEP’s statements followed Trudeau’s address to the European parliament in which he doubled down on his treatment of the anti-COVID mandate “Freedom Convoy” protesters in Ottawa earlier this year.

Saying that Trudeau’s actions against the overwhelming peaceful Freedom Convoy protesters constituted “violations of human rights, democracy, and the rule of law,” Anderson implied that such actions are far from surprising, as Trudeau “openly admires the Chinese basic dictatorship.”

Further comparing Trudeau’s Canada to China, Anderson accused the Trudeau government of “trampl[ing] on fundamental rights, by persecuting and criminalizing his own citizens as terrorists, just because they dared [to] stand up to his perverted concept of democracy.”

“[Trudeau] should not be allowed to speak in this house at all!” charged Anderson

“Mr. Trudeau, you are a disgrace for any democracy, please spare us your presence. Thank you,” concluded Anderson in her fiery speech, which was met with applause.

Anderson’s speech, which has since gone “viral” on social media, followed just hours after Croatian member Kolakusic’s speech condemning Trudeau also went “viral” on Wednesday.

After extolling the virtues of patriotism and freedom, Kolakusic turned and said directly to Trudeau that “unfortunately, there are also those who want to trample those basic rights.”

He said that Canada, which was “once a symbol of the modern world, is under your [Trudeau’s] quasi-liberal leadership, and over [the] past few months it has become a symbol of violating basic human rights and civic freedoms.”

He called Trudeau’s government a “dictatorship of the worst kind” and said that “regimes” which rule by “bombs or by harmful medicine” can be overcome by “united” citizens.

Despite the non-violent nature of the Freedom Convoy protest that took place for three-weeks from late-January to mid-February, Trudeau insisted that the tens of thousands of Canadians were a “small, fringe minority” with “unacceptable” and extremist “views.” Trudeau-aligned politicians also consistently referred to the protest as a “siege,” an “occupation,” and an “insurrection.”

Under this pretense, Trudeau invoked the never-before-used Emergencies Act to break up the demonstration.

Under the EMA, Trudeau granted his government the power to freeze private bank accounts without a court order, while deploying the national police force to physically remove protesters.

In one event, a police officer on horseback trampled an elderly woman on a mobility scooter, while in another event, an officer allegedly shot an independent female journalist with a tear-gas cannister at close range.
