January 23, 2019 (LifeSiteNews) — In this the inaugural episode of The Van Maren Show, Canadian pro-life activist Jonathan Van Maren sits down with Professor Anthony Esolen to discuss the evil fruits of the Sexual Revolution and how to fight back.

Esolen is an accomplished writer, speaker, and teaching fellow at Thomas More College in New Hampshire.
In 2017, he left a tenured position at Providence College after backlash from campus radicals who were upset when he argued that a certain strain of “diversity” politics is detrimental to the true purpose of a university.
Dr. Esolen has authored more than 15 books on a wide range of topics, including literature, the humanities, and the family.
Some of Professor Esolen’s most well-known works include The Politically Incorrect Guide to Western Civilization, Ten Ways to Destroy the Imagination of Your Child, and Out of the Ashes: Restoring American Culture, which he and Van Maren talk about, at length, in this episode.
In their hour-long discussion, the two address the major threats attacking Western Civilization, including transgenderism, modern education, and feminism, which Esolen calls a disease.
The podcast ends on a positive note, with a hopeful Esolen providing recommendations on what Christian families can do to live out their faith and defend Western values instead of just hunkering down and hoping things will turn out alright.
