WASHINGTON, Apr 28 (LifeSiteNews.com) – In an unbelievable maneuver, 22 pro-lifers were arrested outside the US Supreme Court Tuesday while giving witness to the very procedure under deliberation – partial-birth abortion. The arrested pro-lifers had obtained specific approval for their signs and display weeks in advance of the demonstration but were nevertheless hauled off in handcuffs and held in custody for 12 hours.

WorldNetDaily reports that the pro-lifers were demonstrating two days prior to the case’s Tuesday commencement without incident, but on Tuesday they were approached by court police and told of a new regulation written that morning which made their display size specifications illegal. When the pro-lifers protested the travesty of justice, twenty-two of them, including an 80-year-old woman, were arrested.
