Dear friends,

We are acutely aware of the sacrifices our supporters make every day, and our way of saying “thank you” is to run a tight ship, squeezing every dollar we receive to the absolute maximum.

Recently, The Tampa Bay Times released their list of America’s 50 worst charities, based on the amount of donor funds used to pay solicitors to fundraise.  The numbers are astounding, and an embarrassment to non-profit organizations everywhere.

For donors who give to these top 50 worst charities – among which are some of the most popular charities in the country! – the percentage of their gift that actually ends up going to support their charities’ mission ranges from 0%-11.1%!

As the director of fundraising for LifeSiteNews.com, I can hardly even begin to fathom these figures. Ever since I took this position in the fall of 2011, I have been constantly amazed at our staff’s incredible self-giving dedication to the mission!

Unlike Planned Parenthood, which reports profit in the tens of millions every year, much of which comes from their lucrative business of killing the next generation, LifeSiteNews pours everything into this direly needed truth-mission.

As you will see from the chart I created (see left) to show LSN’s fundraising record, I cannot distinguish between profit we receive and what we spend on our mission. There is no profit!

So, rest assured, when you make a donation to support our truth-in-news service, you can be confident that at least 90% of your donation goes directly to support our work.

And unlike many charities, we don’t pay solicitors exorbitant fees to raise money for us.  You will never receive a phone call or email from someone who is not a staff member of LifeSiteNews.com, who does not share your belief in the sanctity of all life, and the value of the traditional family.

But, as we mentioned in our last letter, the unprecedented explosion in demand for our pro-life and pro-family news is currently creating an ever-increasing burden on our already overstretched staff – and in fact, all our resources.

At this point there is only one option: our tiny organization has to grow!

Fortunately, as already explained when we launched this campaign, we have a potential solution. But it requires your help!

We will receive a greatly needed extra $75,000 at the end of this campaign if at least 3,500 of you donate by July 1!

This is an incredible opportunity for us!

But though 3,500 donors is only a tiny fraction of 1% or our annual readership, please don’t think that it will be easy to reach that goal.

Probably the greatest challenge for me, as the director of fundraising, right now is to figure out how to inspire the tens of thousands of people who read us every day to comprehend how much we need their financial support.

That’s why we need YOU! Today! If you have not done so already, I invite you to join our mission. You will make a difference..

Please give as generously as you can right now, whatever you think this vital news service is worth to you and your personal efforts to rebuild a culture of life and family.

LifeSiteNews is on track to reach over 30 million people around the world by the end of this year –

But we need you to get us there!

Thank you for your support,
