PERTH, Western Australia May 25 (LSN) – Perth’s Catholic Archbishop Barry Hickey has offered aborted women help in suing abortionists who violate informed consent laws. “Women who have been misled and poorly informed about abortion and its consequences may count on the Church’s help to seek damages against the doctor who performs the abortion,” the archbishop said. He also offered unlimited monetary assistance for those mothers considering abortion because of financial insecurity.  Abortion has been the subject of great controversy in Western Australian in recent months, as abortion supporters have been waging a campaign to repeal the state’s widely-flouted abortion law.
