VANCOUVER, Mar 30, 2001 (LSN.ca) – The radical pro-abortion activist Government of British Columbia has introduced three pro-abortion bills restricting information on abortion, mandating hospitals to commit abortions and giving pharmacists the right to prescribe abortifacient morning-after pills.

The bill restricting information is a direct result of successful access to information requests by pro-lifers. The new law would forbid all abortion-performing institutions from releasing information on abortions committed except for statistics on the number of abortions by province or region.

The second bill names 34 hospitals in the province and mandates that they provide abortion services. The bill also notes that the Lieutenant Governor may add to this list in Council.
