VANCOUVER, June 21 (LifeSiteNews.com) – Mary Wagner, the 25 year-old BC pro-lifer imprisoned three months ago for handing out roses and offering help to women entering a BC abortuary, was released from jail Saturday despite not signing or even verbally agreeing to stay away from the abortuary. On Friday the judge that had given her a suspended sentence of imprisonment till December 31, 2000 dropped the condition that she sign a recognizance order promising not to go near the abortuaries.

Since signing of the order would have violated her conscience Mary would have remained in prison till her sentence expired. John Hof, president of Campaign Life Coalition BC, thanks pro-lifers for their prayers offered on behalf of Mary Wagner.
