WASHINGTON, D.C.  (LifeSiteNews) – Today the Biden White House dropped its mask mandate, but only for those who have received the experimental jab.

The easing of the mask mandate coincides with President Joe Biden’s first State of the Union address tonight.

The White House decision came after the Attending Physician for Congress, Brian P. Monahan, ruled that, due to a change in Centers for Disease Control (CDC) guidance, masks are now optional on the House floor.

The mask mandate lift applies to the White House premises in general for visitors. Elected officials of the federal government have operated with their own rules. While Congress has had a mask mandate, the Senate left it up to individual choice.

According to the CDC’s new guidelines, Washington, D.C. is now considered to be a low-risk area. Healthy people are not encouraged to wear masks in public indoor spaces.
