WASHINGTON D.C, November 9, 2020 (LifeSiteNews) – In a speech given today, Joe Biden called for nation-wide mask wearing to “defeat” COVID-19 while announcing the forming of a COVID-19 transitionary advisory board.
Biden spent a large part of a Nov. 9 televised press statement urging Americans to wear masks, stating that it is “the single most effective thing we can do to stop the spread of COVID.”
He further claimed that “We can save tens of thousands of lives if everyone just wears a mask for the next few months. So please, I implore you, wear a mask.”
Issuing an emotive address, Biden continued by saying that “the goal of mask wearing…is to give something back to all of us, a normal life…masks are critical in doing that.”
“Do it for yourself, do it for your neighbor. A mask is not a political statement, but it is a good way to start pulling the country together,” stated Biden.
“That’s how we will get our nation back.”
He confirmed the message by later tweeting: “I won't be president until January 20th, but my message today to everyone is this: wear a mask.”
The Biden transition website affirms that Biden would make masks mandatory across the country.
The Democrat also announced the formation of a COVID-19 transitionary advisory board, to advise him until he plans to assume power in January.
Among the members of the group is Dr. Ezekiel Emanuel who helped Obama to form the Affordable Care Act, or Obamacare. Emanuel published a paper in 2014, in which he stated that we must ask “whether our consumption is worth our contribution,” and argued that life beyond the age of 75 was not worth living.

The events of the past month, and especially the past 10 days, have shaken the faith Americans have in their elected and appoint officials.
We continue to call for investigations to be made into allegations of election fraud. Texas is in the process of prosecuting one political operative for illegal ballot harvesting, and multiple state legislatures have called for investigations, too.
However, the judiciary has severely let down the American electorate.
As we have said all along, the integrity of the election is much bigger than President Trump. Election integrity is at the heart of republican democracy, and if we don't have it, we no longer have a functioning republic.
Therefore, we continue to seek the truth for the election outcome. Perhaps that will only be known in the future when state or federal commissions are established to investigate the instances of election fraud which were witnessed and sworn to, by thousands of Americans of all political persuasions.

PETITION UPDATE (12/10/20) -
On Wednesday, President Trump tweeted: "We will be INTERVENING in the Texas (plus many other states) case. This is the big one. Our Country needs a victory!"
He is referring to the lawsuit which the state of Texas has filed against Michigan, Pennsylvania, Wisconsin and Georgia in the Supreme Court over changes those states made to their election rules, claiming they violated the U.S. Constitution in the process.
Here is the central part of the argument: if Texas were to allow possible voter fraud to go unchecked in Michigan, Pennsylvania, Wisconsin, and Georgia, it would be akin to committing fraud upon the people of Texas, who cast their ballots within the framework of the law.
Indeed, this would apply equally to all citizens who voted within the framework of the law across the United States!
President Trump also tweeted that this case is, "very strong...ALL CRITERIA MET."

LifeSite supports President Trump with this petition because we believe he is trying to defend the Constitution, ensuring that electoral fraud does not taint the result of the 2020 general election.
But, since starting this petition, we have launched a separate petition related to the disputed election outcome, calling on the Department of Justice to 'do their job' and engage in meaningful investigations of the mounting evidence of voter fraud.
We believe that conducting forensic audits of ballots and voting machines, as well as issuing subpoenas to collect more evidence, would be a good start.
Thankfully, some of the state started to demand investigations independent of federal agencies. But we still believe that the DoJ needs to use its enormous fact-finding resources to help resolve allegations of election fraud.

Whilst Biden claimed that masks were not a political statement, Tucker Carlson stated they were precisely that and called outdoor mask mandates “unscientific…obedience training.”
In a very detailed two-part analysis, Steve Jalsevac, co-founder of LifeSiteNews, explained how the widespread push for mandatory masks was not driven by science, but out of fear.
Jalsevac wrote that “Mask mandates and a return to deadly lockdown measures are being imposed because of unjustified panic over testing that has been revealing a large increase in covid cases, especially in the southern US.”
Even the Centers for Disease Control (CDC) issued guidelines that explained that a mask would not guarantee an individual’s safety if they were in close proximity to an infected person for over 15 minutes.
“While research indicates masks may help those who are infected from spreading the infection, there is less information regarding whether masks offer any protection for a contact exposed to a symptomatic or asymptomatic patient,” the CDC explained.
A group of physicians, America’s Frontline Doctors, recently gathered in Washington D.C, to challenge the disinformation and lies which are being spread about COVID-19. Their founder, Dr. Simone Gold, stated that “The facts are not in dispute: masks are completely irrelevant to blocking the SARS-CoV-2 virus.”
A recent article published in The Federalist stated that masks have “become a key impediment to returning to a more normal life, a desirable goal for those seeking to twist the pandemic for political and electoral purposes.”
They “dehumanize us, and ironically serve as a constant reminder that we should be afraid.”
The article issues a grave warning regarding the politicizing of masks in the current global situation: “History does not bode well for times that politics meddles with science. Martin Kulldorff, a professor at Harvard Medical School and a leader in disease surveillance methods and infectious disease outbreaks, describes the current COVID scientific environment this way: “After 300 years, the Age of Enlightenment has ended.”
